Pastor Germain has been the Associate Pastor at RRCC since the fall of 2009. He has just finished a Masters in Theological Studies at Tyndale (spring '09) and is presently tracking towards ordination. PG enjoys ministering in the area of spiritual warfare helping people to be set free of demonic influences. PG spent the month of November '09 in Taiwan speaking and teaching about spiritual warfare. He is going back to Taiwan in November '10.
PG has been at RRCC since 2000. After retiring from teaching high school in the Sudbury area he moved to Welland (where he and his wife, Inge, lived and met before going on to higher education). PG studied entomology and Inge studied nursing in Guelph. They had a farm with horses, goats, dogs, cats and bees in Chelmsford. They have two sons, Paul (commercial diver - Sudbury) and Stefan (teacher – Christian college in Taiwan), and three grandchildren.
PG helped to start an evangelical church in Chelmsford (New Life Christian Centre) when he was living in the Sudbury area where he often ministered in the area of spiritual warfare. In 2003 after a minor surgical procedure that went bad, PG should have died but God had other plans and he left the hospital a week later with a quadruple by-pass and a new lease and outlook on life.
PG enjoyed sailing (has sailed from Manitoulin Island to Port Dalhousie) and boating. The trawler he presently owns is named: Matthew 4:19. For many years beekeeping (He is also a Master Beekeeper), provided the family with delicious honey. In his “retirement” years, he enjoys writing poetry, reading, teaching math to adults (part-time) and life in general.
